Ongwanada and Southeastern team up Once again
Southeastern Telecommunication Services is proud to announce that Ongwanada has selected Southeastern to provide their new IP based communications system.
The award was made through a tender process which emcompassed a fully converged voice and data network throughout Ongwanada’s 35 sites.
Ongwanada’s selection process included scalability, ease of implementation, cost saving advantages immediately and in to the future, client references and the powerful combination of Mitel’s, AVST’s and HP’s IP platforms. The Mitel to control voice on the HP provided converged network and the AVST for voice mail and unified messaging throughout Ongwanada’s sites.
Ongwanada is a community based organization that provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Kingston and Eastern Ontario. Therefore the ability to communicate effectively and economically over a large geograhic area was of great importance. Mitel’s Teleworker solution which provides IP voice connectivity through a high speed connection helped reduce the need for costly dedicated IP sevices to the 32 group homes located throughout Ongwanada’s support area.
